Removed the gear from the fuselage and tightened down the brackets with the newly drilled holes.
Once tight, I put the fuselage back onto the rotisserie and flipped it up right. I slipped in the new drill bit and in no time, had the inner and outter gear brackets drilled.
Remove the brackets, deburred and then primed the gear brackets.
Once the primer dried, I pulled out the AN4-7A bolts, washer and nut. My trusty helper Lauren came out to hold the bolts in place while I torqued the nuts. The plans call for 50-70, so I shot for 60. Still have to add the torque seal and clean up the area where I had to trim some aluminum to accomodate the grove gear attachment brackets.
